“For 22 years I have successfully represented applicants for
land use entitlements. My success is premised on my intimate
knowledge of the political realities of every jurisdiction with
which I deal. There is no substitute for knowing all the players.
Whether large or small, I believe in my client and, as I am sure
local government representatives would state, I represent my
clients aggressively.”
Mr. McCracken has been involved in California land use issues since his graduation from
Stanford University Law School. Prior to founding the firm of McCracken & Byers LLP, he was the
County of San Mateo Land Use Attorney. He has tried cases in State
and Federal Courts. He is the past President of the Growth Policy
Council of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Sequoia Union High
School Educational Foundation. Mr. McCracken received a B.A.
Degree from the University of Nebraska and his J.D. from Stanford
University in 1973.
